Dome House was designed by Architectural Practitioner Robert Gaukroger and built in renewable materials on the site of a former smaller property, being entirely remodelled and significantly extended, orientated to maximise light and views.

Built on three levels, Dome House has accommodation with a central, dramatic full height slate stone wall, a feature of the atrium reception space connecting the lower ground floor annexe with ground and first floor main house wing, guest wing and pool wing. The atrium is fully glazed and enjoys views over Lake Windermere, revealed as you climb the bespoke staircase.
